Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

As the chief academic officer for TCU, the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs oversees the overall development and excellence of all educational programs.

Floyd L. Wormley, Jr., Interim Provost

As the university’s chief academic officer, the Provost provides vision and leadership to support excellence in teaching, learning and research, from the undergraduate level through graduate and doctoral levels. The Provost’s primary focus is to implement TCU’s mission: to educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community. The Provost does this through leadership and partnership with vice provosts, associate provosts, deans, Academic Affairs staff, all faculty, Faculty Senate and student governance. The Provost convenes and chairs meetings of the Provost’s Council and University Council, and acts for the Chancellor and President in their absence.
