You’ll learn directly from accomplished teacher-scholars recognized for excellence
in teaching, research and personalized mentorship. Faculty are actively engaged in
cutting-edge research spanning cancer, infectious disease, neuroscience, toxicology
and other biomedical fields. You’ll have opportunities to work alongside faculty on
meaningful research and scientific discovery in the lab. Plus, faculty will help you
develop an individualized academic and professional plan that supports your career
goals.

<valueprop>

Personalized mentorship and hands-on learning are central to the TCU experience. You’ll
learn from biology faculty who know you and your goals, participate in faculty-mentored
research and explore health-focused seminar and study abroad courses. You’ll also
receive one-on-one career guidance from experienced health professions advisors. That
support makes a difference: TCU students are accepted to medical school at twice the
national average.

Biomedical science offers many career paths. Many graduates continue their education
in medical, dental or veterinary schools or biomedical research-focused graduate programs.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment growth of 13% for medical
scientists and 9% for veterinarians through 2035, with 2025 median annual salaries
of $103,410 and $130,100, respectively.
