COVID-19 Communications

Horned Frogs rise to every challenge. The past year has tested our grit, proven our resilience, unleashed our innovation and deepened our compassion toward one another. Despite significant disruptions, I look back with pride upon the past 12 months. More importantly, we are prepared and optimistic about the future at Texas Christian University.

I am pleased to share that although we still have a way to go, we are making progress toward offering COVID-19 vaccinations to Texas Christian University students, faculty and staff who fall within current state and federal priority distribution guidelines and have made the choice to register for the vaccine through TCU.

Texas Christian University’s upcoming Spring Refresh (March 9 – 11, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) is intended to be an opportunity for students to take a short break from their daily academic routine to get some rest and relaxation. We encourage you to stay on campus, and are offering several safely distanced events during these three days.

Our students are excited about the upcoming Spring Refresh next week, March 9 – 11, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I hope over these few days you will also take a moment of rest for yourself.

We are aware of the State’s announcement today regarding face coverings. At this time, we have not issued any changes to our current COVID-19 safety protocols. We are assessing the potential impact to campus with public health officials, our medical team of advisors and University leadership.
