Texas Christian University announced today in a video message from Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. that the University’s Aug. 8 commencement ceremonies are canceled due to the surge of COVID-19 cases across the country.

Thank you. As of Tuesday morning, 91% of fall 2020 instructors-of-record (988) took the Provost’s COVID-19 “Semester of Transition” Course Survey. I appreciate your timely response.

Thank you. So much is happening in this most unique summer! I am heartened by the tremendous activity ongoing as we prepare for a residential experience this fall. Here are important updates for this week.

Thank you! As we near the last day of class, I continue to marvel at how much you have accomplished despite unprecedented challenges, not seen in our lifetimes. I continue to feel blessed to be within the Horned Frog community and hope the end of the semester will allow you a much-needed break and a chance to rejuvenate.

Texas Christian University summer and fall registration opens Monday for undergraduate students, graduate students have already begun the process! We are excited about our summer classes online; there’s no better time to get a jump on your academic goals. And, we hope you’re ready to begin thinking about a new school year in fall with a planned return to campus in August.
