Conference and Events Policy Update
Texas Christian University has cancelled its summer camp and conference season due to the ongoing public health threat posed by COVID-19 and to ensure adherence to state and local guidelines related to public gatherings. Because the health and safety of the public is our top priority, all events, camps, and other summer programs scheduled to be held on TCU’s campus through July 31 are cancelled. We value our community partners and look forward to hosting events in the near future. Due to the on-going developments related to COVID-19, the Big 12 Conference announced that all organized team activities whether organized or voluntary, including team and individual practices, meetings, and other organized gatherings, have been suspended until March 29 and will be re-evaluated at that time. In addition, all conference and non-conference competitions are canceled through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year. Due to the decision by TCU, in response to COVID-19, to extend spring break by one week and then move to online coursework for the subsequent two weeks, the University Unions has elected to postpone the release of the 2020 – 2021 reservation calendar until further notice.
TCU Extended Education has cancelled all in-person classes, summer camps, meetings, conferences, and other on-campus events through July 31 due to the ongoing public health threat posed by COVID-19 and to ensure adherence to state and local guidelines related to public gatherings.
We are moving select programs and summer camps online which can be found on our website. We will update our website as new offerings are made and communicate through emails and social media.
