Conference and Events Policy Update
All TCU meetings, conferences and on-campus events scheduled through April 3 have been canceled. All external on-campus meetings and events through May 10 have been canceled.  TCU is implementing social distancing and strongly discourages groups of 25 or more from gathering.

Please read the Employee Travel Reimbursement Memo from Kim Adams, Associate Vice Chancellor and Controller. We are collecting additional resources and documentation related to travel. Updates will be provided on this site.

Due to the on-going developments related to COVID-19, the Big 12 Conference announced that all organized team activities whether organized or voluntary, including team and individual practices, meetings, and other organized gatherings, have been suspended until March 29 and will be re-evaluated at that time. In addition, all conference and non-conference competitions are canceled through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year. Due to the decision by TCU, in response to COVID-19, to extend spring break by one week and then move to online coursework for the subsequent two weeks, the University Unions has elected to postpone the release of the 2020 – 2021 reservation calendar until further notice.

TCU has decided to cancel all large meetings, conferences, and on-campus events through April 3. As a result, all Extended Education offerings (Community Education, Silver Frogs and Professional Education) between March 12 and April 3 will be suspended on-campus and off-site (Fort Worth Botanic Garden, etc.). Online Extended Education classes will continue.

The Office of Extended Education will remain open virtually by phone (817-257-7132) or email at lifelong@tcu.edu. The physical office will not be open so please do not visit campus during this time.

We are moving forward with our summer offerings including Summer Camps, Advanced Placement Summer Institute and Community Education offerings as planned. Watch for further updates. Please see all of our summer programs and register online at lifelong.tcu.edu

We know that this is a challenging time for each of you and your families.  We look forward to when we can again provide learning opportunities for you.

We'll be monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily in the coming weeks and providing updates on all our summer campus activities as soon as we can.
