COVID-19 Information

Dear Horned Frogs,

Texas Christian University summer and fall registration opens Monday for undergraduate students, graduate students have already begun the process! We are excited about our summer classes online; there’s no better time to get a jump on your academic goals. And, we hope you’re ready to begin thinking about a new school year in fall with a planned return to campus in August. We are hopeful, we are energized and we are ready to be with our TCU family online and in-person - or both!

For the summer term, our faculty and staff have been working incredibly hard to create a high- quality, online learning environment that we think you’ll find both challenging and a lot of fun! Here’s what you need to know:

  • When: Summer and fall registration opens this Monday, April 20. Each student is assigned a specific appointment time to begin the registration process. You can confirm your time in the student portal at my.tcu.edu.
  • Courses: Courses previously posted for summer, particularly for terms beginning in May, may have changed. Be sure to review your schedule again to see the most current class updates.
  • Advising: Work with your academic advisor to begin planning your schedule. If you are having difficulty connecting with your advisor, please utilize the Academic Support Helpline. A professional advisor is available by phone, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4 PM Central Time. The office and helpline can be accessed by calling 817-257-7486 or emails can be sent to ACSAcademicServices@tcu.edu.
  • Financial Aid: We know many families are experiencing financial uncertainty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A significant amount of financial assistance has been allocated for this summer term. Look for an email from the financial aid office with instructions on how to apply.

We miss you! TCU is just not the same without you here. If you’re not already participating, stay connected with TCU and your friends by joining us for some fun with Student Activities or by following the Chancellor’s video series on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

Thank you for being #TCUTogether!

Best,

Teresa
