In an effort to fully address the needs of the TCU faculty and staff, LinkedIn Learning is growing to include even more content, focusing on the broad and timely needs of employees.

“It’s really an exceptional resource with a variety of short videos and guided learning paths, some as short as 10 minutes, to support your mental health and wellness,” said Mariam MacGregor, director, Employee Engagement & Organizational Strategy. “As we continue working within the ongoing weight and limitations presented by the pandemic, you can start by visiting this link for learning specifically focused on mental health during challenging times.”

Last fall, HR launched LinkedIn Learning, a best-in-class resource for professional and personal development that is now available to full-time faculty, staff and adjunct faculty. The engagement team in Human Resources reviewed various online platforms to increase easy access to on-demand learning content before landing on LinkedIn Learning.

“TCU’s subscription to LinkedIn Learning allows employees to explore learning opportunities from a broad spectrum of topics and career fields,” Yohna Chambers, vice chancellor and chief human resources officer, said. “Employees can set learning goals and track their progress toward those goals.”

LinkedIn Learning allows users to learn at their own pace. It can be a route to personal success through its content, which is specific to unique interests and diverse career paths. You may select courses relevant to your current role in areas like Time Management and Strategic Thinking, or the aforementioned mental health and wellness.
