Nominations are now open through Feb. 10 for the 2021-2022 Clark Society Endowed Scholarship. This highly competitive merit scholarship rewards rising seniors for their academic excellence and involvement during their time at TCU and encourages them to stay engaged with the university after graduation.

First awarded in 1999, the scholarship has now supported 87 students who represent TCU with the highest degree of character and leadership. Nomination submission from faculty and staff is the first step in identifying our next Clark Society Scholars. New this year is an online nomination form, which will accept submissions through 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 10. To qualify, students must:

  • Be a rising senior who will complete at least 85 hours by the end of the spring 2021 semester, be considered a full-time student in the fall 2021 semester and have plans to graduate in either December 2021 or May 2022
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Demonstrate leadership ability and be of good character
  • Have held at least one leadership position
  • Be in good standing with the university
  • Have contributed in a meaningful way to TCU’s quality of life and/or in the community

Next steps:

  • Nominated students will be invited to apply and will be asked to complete an online application form, including an essay and résumé.
  • The Clark Society Scholarship Selection Committee will determine the 2021-2022 recipients in the spring.
