Nominations Open for 2022 Chancellor’s Staff Award
Nominations for the 2022 Chancellor’s Staff Award for Outstanding Service are open. Created in 2003, this annual award recognizes a staff member noted for exemplary service and above-and-beyond contributions to the welfare of the campus community.
“This award provides the perfect opportunity to recognize and celebrate those who are relentlessly working for the greater good of the entire TCU community,” Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. said.
The award recipient is selected from a pool of nominees representing each university division and announced by the Chancellor at the opening of the academic year in August.
Past award winners share a record of meaningful collaboration and positive impact through interaction with faculty, staff, students and alumni, as well as demonstrated support of TCU programs and events. A photo gallery of recipients is on display near the Chancellor’s Office in The Harrison.
Last year’s Chancellor’s Staff Award winner was Rodney Baker, manager of Facility Services.
“I was honored to be in the room with everyone that was nominated,” Baker said, “and just to know that the work that my staff has done has placed me in this position where the campus recognizes me for the work, but it’s actually everything they do every day.”
Nominations for the 2022 Chancellor’s Staff Award for Outstanding Service run through April 22.
