Updated: Feb. 24, 5:45 p.m.
Texas Christian University will reopen campus and resume classes at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25. Weather conditions are expected to improve significantly to allow most of the ice to melt. TCU Facilities is salting sidewalks and de-icing surfaces around the clock to ensure the safest environment possible.
Safety is the Priority
The safety of the TCU community is our top priority. Students, faculty and staff should use their best judgment as to their ability to travel to campus during inclement weather. Students who are not able to report for class when the university reopens due to dangerous travel conditions should contact their instructor; faculty and staff should contact their supervisor.
To report ice on a walkway that could potentially be hazardous, call Facilities at 817-257-7954.
