What did Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. think of Texas Christian University the first time he visited campus more than 20 years ago? What have been some of the most meaningful moments he’s witnessed at TCU?

As TCU celebrates its 150th year, the university is launching a video series titled, “TCU Presents: Celebrating 150 Years of Leadership” featuring the stories of leaders and personalities who have – and still are – making an impact on TCU.

The first video in the series features Chancellor Boschini sharing his TCU story, his views on what makes TCU special and how he’s witnessed the university grow and thrive nearly 20 years as Chancellor.

New videos in the series will be released throughout the year and include: James I. Cash, the first Black student-athlete at TCU and first Black basketball player in the Southwest Conference; Bob Schieffer, legendary news correspondent and namesake of TCU’s Bob Schieffer College of Communication; and incoming TCU Board of Trustees Chair Kit Tennison Moncrief and more.

“TCU Presents” is a video production of TCU Magazine and TCU Alumni Association that brings stories and topics to life in live video panel discussions. The special edition series, “TCU Presents: Celebrating 150 Years of Leadership,” will be one-on-one recorded interviews that engage directly with Horned Frogs leaders who have shaped TCU’s history.
