The William E. Tucker Award for Integrity & Ethical Leadership is named in honor of Texas Christian University’s 8th Chancellor. Chancellor Tucker led TCU from 1979 through 1998. He is remembered for his extraordinary vision, integrity and servant leadership. The award recognizes an individual who displays acts of integrity and ethical leadership in their ongoing contributions to the success of TCU’s values-centered and mission-driven community. The award is given annually. 
 
Criteria:

  • Nominee must be a ¾ or fulltime employee, who has served as a member of the faculty or staff (exempt or non-exempt) for at least three years.
  • Nominee must be an employee in good standing at Texas Christian University.
  • Members of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, Provost’s Council and the Office of the Chancellor may submit nominations but are not eligible to be nominated.
