Aimee Hurst Bozarth

Aimee Hurst Bozarth's career as a pianist and musical director includes work with national touring companies, regional and local theaters, professional opera companies and university faculties. She has performed with notable touring productions including The Color Purple; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Spamalot; Wicked; Altar Boyz; Jesus Christ Superstar; and Annie. Local musical direction credits include Casa Manana, Stage West Theatre, Circle Theatre, Jubilee Theatre, and WaterTower Theatre. Aimee received the Dallas-Fort Worth Theater Critics Forum award for Outstanding Creative Contribution for her work in Circle Theatre’s Sweeney Todd.

At Texas Christian University, Aimee is a member of the theatre faculty where she has music directed over twenty productions and teaches courses in Musical Theatre Theory and performance. Previously, at Texas Wesleyan University, she collaborated extensively with choral ensembles as well as providing musical direction for the theatre department. Aimee was Associate Artistic Director of the Texas Boys Choir for nine seasons, appearing in concert nationally and internationally with the world-renowned ensemble.

Aimee received the 2018-2019 Dallas-Fort Worth Theater Critics Forum award for Outstanding Creative Contribution for her work in Circle Theatre’s Sweeney Todd.
