Alex Fitzgerald

Alex Fitzgerald is the Learning Technologist & Data Analyst in the Koehler Center for Instruction, Innovation, and Engagement at Texas Christian University. He provides support and consultation for TCU Online, administers the LMS in collaboration with the Learning Technology Manager, and provides training resources to help faculty and staff use educational technology effectively. Alex also contributes to the university's learning data analytics efforts by developing reports and dashboards that translate LMS activity into actionable insights for campus stakeholders. 

Before joining TCU in 2023, Alex spent over a decade as an educator in Des Moines, Iowa, leading large-scale programs and initiatives in curriculum development, data analysis, and online learning. He holds a Master’s in Culturally Responsive Leadership and Instruction from Drake University and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Iowa State University. Alex is also pursuing an MBA to expand his impact in higher education technology and leadership.
