Haley McCarthy

About

Haley McCarthy is an accomplished interior designer and educator who brings valuable industry insight and technical expertise to TCU’s Department of Design. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) and holds both NCIDQ certification and registration as a Texas Interior Designer.

Her professional experience spans leading firms such as Perkins & Will, VLK Architects, Tryba Architects, and her own design practice. She has worked extensively on commercial, education, and branded environment projects with expertise in space planning, lighting design, FF&E, and client-focused solutions. Before joining the faculty full time, Haley taught as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Design, where she quickly earned a reputation for her engaging teaching style and ability to connect professional practice with academic learning.
