Teaching Philosophy
I strive to foster genuine, deep learning among students. Anatomy and physiology courses are notoriously content-dense, so I promote active learning strategies in my courses and utilize case studies to foster students’ application of material to real-world settings. I follow a backward design approach to curriculum and content development.
