Update (6:00 AM)

Power and water have both been restored. TCU will be open for all scheduled classes and activities today.

Update (12:32 AM)

Power has now been restored on campus. However, a second, smaller water leak has been found. Water is shut off in some buildings while repairs are made.

Update (8:43 PM)

Water service has been restored to campus. Power repairs are underway and should be complete by midnight.

Update (7:27 PM)

Power has been restored to the east side of campus, as well as Worth Hills, Athletics, the University Recreation Center and Moncrief Hall. The majority of main campus is still without power.

Update (7:00 PM)

Power and water outage is ongoing. Orientation, overnight camp and conference guests will stay in their assigned residence halls.

Update (6:22 PM)

Crews continue to work on the water and power outage affecting campus. Orientation, camp and conference activities are being adjusted individually, as needed. We anticipate water being restored by 10 PM and power being restored by midnight.

Currently, multiple buildings on campus are experiencing water and power outages. These outages are the result of a ruptured water main (and subsequent shut-off).

TCU has canceled all academic classes for this evening, Monday June 10, 2019.

Orientation activities will be updated on the Guidebook app.

Orientation, camps, and conferences will continue as planned – check TCU website and social media for regular updates.

Departments must ensure adequate staffing for events to provide essential services related to (1) health and safety, (2) the presence of our residential student community, and (3) agreements with the public for the use of University facilities.
