Fall 2020 has been a semester like no other at TCU. Horned Frogs have stayed connected and dedicated while pivoting and adapting — and even having a little fun. Now it’s time to finish strong.

Watch this video and read on for five ways to bring out your best Horned Frog self as we wrap up Fall 2020.

1. Show up for class.

   If you have in-person classes, go! There is nothing quite like a walk across our beautiful campus, and you never know what you might learn from your classmates or professors before and after class.

   If you are healthy, show up. Put on your mask. Stay 6 feet apart. Talk with your classmates. Engage with your professor. Make the most of these last few weeks of the semester.

2. Get connected. 

   Five landing zones on campus give you options beyond your dorm room or apartment to take online classes. Chances are the other Horned Frogs in your landing zone will be taking different classes or just studying, but it feels better to be among others — at a safe distance, of course.

   And don’t worry. All indoor spaces are specially cleaned every night.

   Plus tents, the library and hundreds of study places are available on campus.

3. Get outdoors.

   Fall is here and the weather is perfect. If you’re not getting outdoors, you’re missing out. You can study. Socialize. Play games. Soak up some vitamin D. Or even snooze under the sun.

   The new Community Commons is perfect for hanging out with old friends and making new ones. With movie nights, food trucks, games and lounging, it’s the perfect place to de-stress and get outdoors.

4. Reach out.

   It’s been a tough year. College can be challenging even without a pandemic, so remember to reach out to others if you need help. Sometimes it’s good to talk with someone you don’t live with or are related to. TCU is here with advisors, professors, nurses, counselors and even fellow students.

   And don’t forget to listen and notice if someone else is struggling. Let’s keep looking out for each other. 

5. Get involved.

   Whether you are on campus or across the country, you can meet fellow Horned Frogs online.

   Join a student group. Attend a sporting event. Volunteer to help others online. Compete in online competitions.

   There is no shortage of ways to be involved at TCU!
