Residential Students

As always, TCU’s residential housing staff is on call 24/7 and ready to help. Please use the same protocols to report any concerns or issues to the front desk, the RA on duty or the hall director. If you have heating or other facility issues, please reach out directly to your hall’s front desk, RA on duty or hall director to help. Please note that during sustained, severe below-freezing conditions, room temperatures will not feel as warm as usual. To help keep your room a little warmer, consider keeping your blinds closed and layering clothing for your comfort. Our state remains under a winter storm warning and electric grids are under duress. Please unplug appliances that are not in use and conserve energy where you can to do your part.

Our Emergency Management team is closely monitoring weather and power conditions, which continue to impact road conditions and infrastructure. Updates to campus status are announced via TCU Alert (text and email), posted on the TCU news site, shared on TCU social media and with local news outlets. The recording on TCU’s main phone line (817-257-7000) also will be updated.

Please stay safe and continue to look out for one another!
