Contractors continue working to repair the water leak to our main water line. At this time, we ask that you continue to use Schollmaier Arena restrooms. We will inform you as soon as repairs are complete. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The university will repair a main water line leak between Sadler Hall and Mabee Hall today beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Water will be turned off in several campus locations from approximately 1:30-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19.
All students are reminded to exercise caution when walking in areas of water runoff, as it is expected to freeze, creating a slip hazard.
What does this mean for students today, Friday, Feb. 19?
The following buildings will be affected by the water shut off:
- Tom Brown/Pete Wright Residential Community
- Carter Hall
- Samuelson Hall
- King Hall
- Wright Hall
- Clark Hall
- Brown-Lupton University Union (BLUU)
- Recreation Center
- Milton Daniel Hall
- Moncrief Hall
Other buildings may experience low water pressure. If you experience low water pressure in a building not listed above, please contact TCU Facilities at 817-257-7954.
Warming center moves to King Family Commons Building
The University Recreation Center will be temporarily closed during the repair. The warming center for students who would like a reliable place to charge devices and stay warm will move to the King Family Commons Building during this time.
Dining service for Friday evening served in King Family Commons Building
Water will be turned off in the BLUU during the repair, dinner will not be served in Market Square Friday, Feb. 19. Dinner will be served in KFCB from 5:15-8 p.m.
Residents are asked to stagger arrival for mealtimes based on the timeline below to lessen wait times.
