February 3, 2022

Due to inclement weather conditions, the TCU campus will remain closed through noon Saturday, Feb. 5. Required academic activities (such as classes and clinicals) are canceled until 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6.

When classes are canceled and the campus is closed, all academic activities, including online classes, exams, internships, clinicals, field trips, etc., are canceled. Continue to check TCU News for information. (View TCU News Guide to Winter Weather Notification Procedures).

Times and dates for athletics events are subject to change based on weather and travel conditions. For more information, please check gofrogs.com

Upon reopening, faculty will communicate with students to adjust course expectations and deadlines to make sure the course learning objectives are met.

FACULTY AND STAFF EMPLOYEES

Please note that when the university is closed due to inclement weather, all academic instruction and activities, online or in-person, on or off campus, will cease until the university officially reopens. See the Academic Affairs FAQs for spring 2022, which includes FAQs about inclement weather policy.

Faculty and staff are instructed to not come to campus unless you have been specifically asked by your supervisor and you are able. Employees in essential positions have been asked to report to work if they are able. Essential positions are those that support the residential student population and provide safety and security for our campus. Each department is responsible for identifying and communicating to employees who are required to report to work during a weather event. Employees with questions about work expectations should contact their immediate supervisor.

The TCU Employee Assistance Program is available 24/7.
