The Nashville mural of Desmond Bane ’20 is complete. The hand-painted artwork is 20 feet high and 45 feet wide at 1616 N. Broadway in Tennessee’s capital, which provided a central location and large metropolitan area to recognize the TCU alumnus and star of the state's home NBA team, the Memphis Grizzlies.

The mural is one in a series across the nation featuring notable Horned Frogs and celebrating TCU’s Sesquicentennial. This installment features a photorealistic portrait of Bane and unique, dynamic lettering featuring his inspiring quote: “No one achieves their dream alone.”

A TCU photo essay of Bane is now live, and a new time-lapse video shows the creation of the mural.

TCU leaders and Tennessee alumni will celebrate with a celebratory event surrounding the mural next week. Read more about Bane and the mural project on TCU News.
