The new issue of TCU Magazine unveils the blueprint for a university purposefully reimagined. The cover story delves
into the strategic thought behind the Campus Master Plan, explaining the student-centric
rationale driving the creation of expanded academic spaces, dynamic residential communities,
state-of-the-art athletic facilities and a revitalized Berry Street.
“This story invites readers to discover where TCU’s ambitious goal of a 17,500-strong
student body and elevated research profile will take tangible form,” editor Caroline
Collier said. “The entire issue explores the thoughtful evolution of TCU — a testament to strategic foresight, artistic and architectural brilliance and enduring
leadership. It is honestly one of my favorite editions to date.”
This issue also honors the transformative legacy of Chancellor Victor J. Boschini,
Jr., with a photographic retrospective of his 22-year tenure. Beyond the campus footprint,
the magazine highlights the success of the debut novel, Malas, from Marcela Fuentes, associate professor of creative writing. It also visits Crystal
Bridges Museum in Arkansas, where Alejo Benedetti ’15 MA curates contemporary art,
including an unprecedented collaboration with the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz
for her inaugural museum commission.
