TCU Gives Day 2025 Tops $2 Million
TCU Gives Day achieved the second-highest total raised in its 12-year history. On Oct. 7-8, 2025, TCU exceeded its goal of 2,025 participants with 3,206 donors contributing a total of $2,267,355.
The 24-hour Gives Day online challenge highlights the importance of philanthropy and its positive impact on every student at the university. Along the way, Horned Frogs unlocked more than $603,550 in challenge gifts across 27 schools, colleges and initiatives, benefiting areas such as scholarships, academic programs and student resources.
“To those who participated, thank you for helping make TCU Gives Day 2025 a resounding success,” Kristee Bell, assistant vice chancellor for development, TCU Loyalty Giving, said. “Your generosity made this a day filled with Purple Pride and demonstrated the strength of our Horned Frog community.”
This year:
- The day saw donor participation from all 50 states and four countries
- More than 2,669 gifts under $150 were made, representing 82% of all gifts
- More than 400 students made a gift of their own
- 74 social media ambassadors generated 964 clicks, 227 donors and $40,551 in gifts
TCU Gives Day 2025 introduced two exciting initiatives to engage the Horned Frog community with the TCU Alumni Challenge and Flat SuperFrog.
Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin and his wife, Ann, issued a challenge of their own, committing $50,000 if 500 alumni gifts were received. The challenge was met early in the day.
Also, making its debut was the “Where's Flat SuperFrog?” campaign, inviting Horned Frogs to download Flat SuperFrog, take him on adventures and share photos or videos on social media using #TCUGivesDay. Two favorites were featured each day – one student and one alumni, parent or friend – with winners receiving prizes and the opportunity to choose the next TCU area or cause to receive a gift from an anonymous donor.
“Whether you made a gift, shared your support on social media or encouraged fellow Horned Frogs to give back, your actions helped provide a better experience for current and future TCU students,” Bell said.
