The fall 2025 issue of TCU Magazine aims to capture the energy and ambition defining a new era at the university. The
cover story introduces Mike Buddie, TCU’s new director of intercollegiate athletics,
who steps into the spotlight as college sports undergo a seismic shift.
“From revamped facilities to revenue sharing for student-athletes, Mike Buddie is
helping lead a bold transformation — one grounded in strategic vision and designed
to elevate TCU’s standing in the national athletics conversation,” said editor Caroline
Collier. “The feature also showcases the new high-tech Human Performance Center and
the university’s full-throttle commitment to the student-athlete experience.”
At the helm of this expansive institutional vision is Daniel W. Pullin, TCU’s 11th
chancellor, who is profiled in the fall issue in a commemorative feature.
“Readers will get to know the dynamic leader behind the university’s most ambitious
strategic plan to date — one that includes expanded research, growing enrollment and
continued investment in the university’s signature teacher-scholar model,” Collier
said. “From purple Converse to boardroom strategy, Chancellor Pullin brings intellectual
firepower and personal charisma to every corner of campus life.”
