Texas Christian University conferred degrees on more than 2,800 Horned Frogs during its spring 2026 commencement May 8-9, marking the debut of a reimagined and expanded ceremony tradition that brought the entire graduating class together at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

The Friday evening all-university ceremony featured the official conferring of degrees by Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin, alongside multiple speakers, longstanding TCU traditions and a fireworks finale that lit up the stadium as graduates turned their tassels.

“Tonight’s all-university commencement is our way to celebrate the Class of 2026 together,” Pullin said. “Earning a TCU degree is the culmination of years of hard work and sacrifice, and it reflects the power of a TCU education to prepare graduates to make a meaningful impact in their communities and around the world.”

The move to Amon G. Carter Stadium carried significant meaning for the class of 2026, ho first gathered on the field in 2022 for their incoming class photo. Friday’s ceremony brought them back to that same field for one final celebration together, this time as graduates.

Throughout Friday and Saturday, each school and college hosted its own academic convocation, with deans leading ceremonies that featured the calling of every graduate’s name, their walk across the stage and recognitions specific to each college. The convocation format eliminated ticketing, expanded seating and ensured every family member who wanted to attend could do so. Both the all-university commencement and every academic convocation were streamed live for friends and family unable to attend in person.
