COVID-19 Information

Dear TCU Faculty and Staff,

In light of the extension of spring break and current change from on-campus instruction to distance learning, the deadline to drop a class for Spring semester 2020 will be extended from March 30 to April 13. The deadline to elect P/NC for a class will be extended from March 31 to April 14.

In addition, students may choose to take up to two courses for P/NC, during Spring 2020. For students who choose to do so, these courses will not count against the two-course limit on P/NC classes. Please consult the catalog for clarification of TCU’s policy and parameters for pass/no credit classes here: Bachelor's Degree Definitions & Regulations.

Existing restrictions and parameters regarding what can be taken P/NC are still in effect.

Lastly, the academic advising timeframe has been extended for an extra week to give everyone more time for advising. Students are advised to check their my.tcu.edu portal for their exact registration time.

Reminders:

Students will receive an email from their academic advisor about how to schedule an appointment. In addition, there will be a professional academic advisor staffing the Academic Support Helpline, Monday-Friday from 9:00-12:00 and1:00-4:00, Central Standard Time to answer questions related to advising, explain academic policies & procedures, make appropriate referrals, etc. The helpline can be accessed by calling 817-257-7486. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. We’re here to help!

Student Disability Services is available to answer any questions related to accommodations or concerns regarding their implementation. Disability Specialists will be available at 817-257-6567 and the phones will be monitored Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Central Time. Voicemail left before 3 PM will be returned on the same business day. Voicemail left after 3 PM will be returned the next business day. Please speak clearly and leave your name, your daytime call back number and the nature of your call.
