Advance your knowledge of the workings of the human body through classroom experiences and intensive research led by a faculty mentor. Upon completing the master’s degree in kinesiology, you’ll be equipped to apply movement-based principles and develop evidence-informed strategies to address real-world challenges and research questions across laboratory, educational, clinical and athletic settings.

Once in the program, you’ll be able to choose an emphasis in biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise psychology, motor control, nutrition, physical activity and chronic disease, or sport psychology.

 Graduates of TCU’s Master’s in Kinesiology program are well-prepared for a wide range of careers in health, fitness, education, performance and research settings. Many pursue roles such as exercise physiologist, clinical research coordinator, wellness program director, cardiac rehabilitation specialist or mental performance consultant. Others continue their education in doctoral programs or professional schools in physical therapy, occupational therapy or medicine.
