Student Access & Accommodation supports students with disabilities by providing:
- Access—offering the opportunity to fully participate in college while maintaining confidentiality about a student’s specific disability.
- Accommodations—ensuring physical or academic adjustments that allow a student with a disability equal access to the University’s programs.
- Alliance—providing letters to inform faculty of student rights; reminding students of faculty rights; teaching students to self-advocate; and being a liaison if difficulties are encountered.
- Assistance—obtaining reasonable accommodations and services; understanding the disability; finding resources; obtaining assistive or adaptive technology.
